Liberty Mutual Building Fin Wall, Seattle, WA

The Liberty Mutual Building fin wall involved careful planning and measurements plus special rigging for the glass installation. The wall consists of 18 glass panels held in place using spider fittings. First, the spider fittings were carefully laid out; once the fittings were installed they could not be moved. We used an interior mobile crane to set each of the 800 pound glass panels in place. The largest glass panels are 1.5 in. x 12 in. x 27 ft.
